When my third child was born, I closed the shop. Not reluctantly — intentionally. I had built something that worked, and now I was choosing my family over the treatment room. But it left me with a question that wouldn't leave me alone.

I couldn't stop thinking about those templates I was building over the years between clients and how many beauty pros were burning out chasing followers or working on the wrong things, when the real numbers are in the bookings. 

That's why I created Alohi Aesthetics Pro. It's twenty years of industry experience, a decade of running a fully-booked studio, and everything I learned about building a website that actually grows a beauty business — packaged into templates and done-for-you design that any beauty pro can use.

That was me.  Shaun. I became a certified web designer after receiving my esthetician license in 2007. This was due to the recession the following years, so I picked up that skill and had a small company designing local business websites.  I had two beautiful children in 2011 and 2013. It was such a blessing to be a mom, but it came with challenges as a single mom.  

I learned lash extensions during this time. I paired that with my skills of web design for my beauty services.  This is where the magic started.  My clients consistently started growing and I built a 6-figure beauty business from the skills I learned along the way. 

I started my website template designs over the years between clients, but tragedy struck with the Lahaina fires where we lived.  It caused a lot of setbacks and life reflection.   

Before there was Alohi Aesthetics, there was a girl who's notebook was filled with hand-drawn spa layouts and big dreams.
