A DOMAIN NAME
Purchase your domain through a domain registrar such as GoDaddy, Bluehost, or another domain provider.
PRO TIP: Keep your domain registrar login information somewhere safe. You'll need access to your DNS settings when connecting your domain to Showit.
A SHOWIT SUBSCRIPTION
Showit hosts your website, so you don't need to purchase separate website hosting. It also includes a free SSL certificate that secures your site so your web address includes HTTPS. Sign up for Showit here.
In summary, you'll need:
1. Your Site
Showit will host your site directly on their servers. This does not include your custom domain, which you have to purchase separately from a third party like Godaddy or such.
2. Your Content Files
This includes images, text, & PDFs, gifs, custom fonts, and videos for canvas backgrounds (video content cannot exceed 8mb).
3. Blog and Associated Media (For Users With a Blog Subscription)
Your blog posts and all media files supported by WordPress are hosted on the Showit servers. Wordpress is great for SEO purposes and monetization.

Tier 2- Showit + Basic Starter Blog (Most Popular): Website + Blog Hosting: The Basic Blog subscription includes access to the Showit platform and includes hosting for both your website and blog. Your hosted blog is a "managed" blog which means Showit assists with troubleshooting issues and have a 30-day rolling backup of all your blog files and content.
This option is perfect for someone starting a blog or looking to create a new blog. Blog posts support: text, images, YouTube & Vimeo embeds, and the plugins below. Migrations are not available for Basic Starter blogs.
Tier 3- Showit + Advanced Blog: This blog subscription is designed for users who currently have a WordPress, WordPress.com or Squarespace blog that they want to migrate posts from, need to embed custom code in posts, or who need to use their own choice of WordPress plugins.
